(Minister)
Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.
Romans 12:10-13 (NKJV)
Jesus displayed his attitude as a servant the whole time He walked the earth. We believe He was God’s personality here on earth. If He wasn’t feeding a multitude He was healing a cripple. If He wasn’t raising the dead He was explaining a parable. Everywhere He went He was always serving and helping those that came to see and hear Him teach.
Since Christ is in us and we are to do as He did while on the earth we are to serve one another. In serving we are to create an atmosphere where the Gospel is preached and received. Working together in one mind and one spirit will grow the Kingdom of God and reign in the lost.
